I think it depends on the circumstances. If you really think the alternative candidate isnt that different or wont be so bad, then maybe a protest (non)vote is warranted. Like theres a time and a place for it, when the political climate is stable and the candidates are relatively normal. But thats not where we are. I cant fathom how anyone could view Trump, especially after witnessing his first term, and think its ok to let this happen to the nation if you had any leftist values at all. We are in a pretty desperate situation. We either find a way to defeat the fascists, or we surrender to fascism. Exactly zero candidates will be perfect and pleasing to everyone, that doesnt mean we should allow an insurrectionist, felon, rapist, fraudster, anti-democratic, anti-constitution, wannabe dictator have his way with the country.

This is what really gets me about the whole thing, and how weak his cultists are. Trump and his people campaigned on this shit. They are the ones who spent years hyping it up. Now hes doing revisionist history saying its a democrat hoax. At least if he had been saying that from the beginning it would be consistent. Wrong, but consistent. Instead hes done a complete 180, publicly, trying to pretend like thats not what happened lol? And his followers almost used their brains for a few weeks there, but ultimately they were easily defeated by the propaganda machine. What a sad state of affairs.

It also just doesnt make sense to believe there wouldnt be a letter from Trump in the collection. There is no dispute that Trump and Epstein were close friends. They hung out all the time, Trump publicly spoke highly of Epstein and vice versa. In 2003, Maxwell commissioned this collection for Epstein, getting birthday cards from Epsteins friends and associates. The rest of the letters are authentic. Why wouldnt she have gotten one from Trump if they were close friends and she was specifically getting cards from Epsteins friends? Ive yet to see a MAGA try to answer this. Its obvious that just like the other letters, Trumps is real, and hes denying it because it looks very, very bad for him.
