I have two Lidls near me. Gone from one. The other moved what they had into the clearance section. I’m going to keep buying a few extra every week until they disappear. If you have an Asian supermarket in your area you might be able to find something similar. This is my complaint about Lidl – they often take good stuff away.

Curried Chick Peas And Tomatoes Ingredients: 2 cups dried chick peas 1 tablespoon of olive oil 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1 box cherry tomatoes, sliced in half 1 tsp curry powder 2 tablespoons sesame seeds 1 tsp sea salt 1 tsp coriander 1/2 tsp turmeric Cooking: Cook the chick peas in 4 cups of water. Warm up the oil in a frying pan and add the mustard seeds When the seeds begin to pop add the tomatoes and curry powder. Cook for 2 min. Add the chickpeas, salt, coriander sesame seeds and turmeric. Mix well. Cook for 2 min.

I try to do it all on one day of the weekend. Usually about 2 stores. I rotate the stores to get the cheapest price on some items. For example, I go to Trader Joe’s about once a month to get reasonably priced tempeh, canned soup, and organic sweet potatoes. I tend to spend less if I make it a rule to not buy food unless it is weekend. I don’t always keep that rule. 🙂

I thought “The Three Sisters” was a Native American term for 3 crops to plant next to each other as they help each other thrive: squash, corn, and beans.
