I find Thai vegetables in Thai and other Asian grocery stores. I think you need to distinguish between the vegetables and herbs used. I don’t think either messes with your diet considering that Thai people eat both all of the time.

Do you have a recipe you would post?

Looks like a pot of stew rather than a pot of beans – but that is better.

I’ve noticed that watery produce tastes better when it is organic. I’ve also seen visible differences between organic and non-organic. There is a difference. Whether or not those differences matter beyond taste and I appearance I do not know. I would also like to see who funded the studies saying that organic or not does not matter.

The devil is in the details and I would want to read the details ( especially who is funding the anti-organic studies ) myself. The meat and dairy industries are still cranking out anti-soy studies. I can see some agricultural orgs paying to convince people that organic produce doesn’t benefit them.

I’ve seen that comment a lot in this thread. Before I believe that I would want to research the credibility of the org where the list comes AND the credibility of the orgs doing the debunking. As vegans we know that the food industry puts out disinformation. I can see an agricultural org paying for studies that state that organic produce doesn’t make a difference.
