Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

I don’t know why your thread was voted down. It is sad that there are anti-science people in the vegan community who embrace the soy hysteria promoted by the meat and dairy industries. Many good soy products left the market as a result.

Nope. They have CHEAP very, very, firm tofu and a nice frozen vegetable biriyani.

Load up on non-perishable basics: Dried legumes, oatmeal, potatoes, sunflower seeds ( cheap source of vitamin e and zinc ), brown rice, and frozen greens.

Do you happen to have any links? No. No snark, but just do a web search. McDonald’s has been in the news for having lost business during greedflation. I did a fast search on “Is inflation forcing people to learn how to cook” and got some interesting headlines.

This system where we go to work so we can buy food pre-made. I think it is more like a large number of people stay in unfulfilling jobs to afford rents, mortgages, and have health care. I think buying ready made meals is partly about wanting to do other things on work nights. I do agree with you that people seem to be trained into not cooking. Greeflation, inflation, seem to be reducing that a little bit.
