Yes Ruger is up there with CS, theyre great. Not quite Henrys level but still top shelf. Other top tier CS Ive used is SilencerCo and Foxtrot Mike, both are also amazing Fortunately havent had to use Taurus. Ive got a tx22 thats been solid and an old school R92 I bought used and its been gtg, always bit finicky with what 38s it runs but otherwise fine.

Any issues I’ve had they resolve quickly, and yes over the last 5 years I’ve had to use the warranty a few times. Take a look at the post on my profile today, they just replaced four parts including the barrel without any charge whatsoever and done in one week. Last Monday they sent a return label and today I received and tested it out, sighted it back in. Their warranty / CS is the best in the industry that I’ve dealt with, hands down. If there’s a problem they fix it and do it swiftly. In my experience for firearms and accessories part of the cost is the warranty / CS and some companies are way better than others. You’re gonna have problems, something will wear down or break and knowing it’s fully covered is a huge consideration. I have a firearm I sent to S&W and it’s got a 6 week turnaround, which kind of sucks but at least it’s covered. Those Marlins look really nice, I love the wood and that stainless is sharp. If their CS is comparable to Henry I’d go for the Marlin.

It really depends on your use case and intended customizations. If you’re gonna space cowboy get the X, don’t waste that money on the beautiful furniture with the Marlin, unless you have money to burn. I’ve got an X and spent the extra $150 getting walnut furniture for it, it’s slick. I have to give massive props to Henry’s CS, they’re seriously top tier. I cant’t speak to Marlin’s and I know S&W is good but really slow.

Federal or Magtech 158gr both run great in my X357 but I’ve run plenty of 130gr and it suppressed fine for me tbh, although the 158gr is quieter.
