Once had a gal jump on stage at Exit/In and start playing the djembe in our perc rig I hopped on the drum riser with her to ask her to step down with me when she got startled and tried to run away. She thought she was inmuch bigger trouble than she was truly in… It was like when Wile E. Coyote runs off a cliff but hangs there for a moment before plummeting to his demise. She forgot she was on a drum riser. When she finally remembered thats when she ate it. The first thing to hit the floor was her face. She did get up under her own power though, and promptly ran out the back door into the night.

The recent American network TV spotlight on him (CBS, I believe, around the holidays) was sooo cringe. Sure hes written a ton of great tunes but he is a verified putz and a well-known asshole. Not deserving of the adoration that he receives, IMO. Prior to the clip OP posted a while back, Id already heard horror stories corroborating the behavior he exhibited in the video.

this. go see an audiologist once a year. cleanings are cheap. every two years, get new impressions made for custom plugs/IEMs. your ears change shape as you age. very mushy.

yep. pulled out a v7 again the other night and just could not get enough out of it overall for the wedges, plus it was boxy and not a good fit for the vocalists timbre. im done trusting them, especially on loud shows. ive had great results with them for jazz vocals and quieter stages.
