Yes, the details are vague but the police went to check on nearby legislators after the first shooting and saw him trying to leave the scene of the second shooting. Thats how they got his SUV. But apparently he retreated in the house then slipped out the back.

Seen plenty of incidents where someone was injured at the scene and the cops were still able to pump the young brown suspect full of lead just fine. Was it just a single cop who confronted Vance?

Doubt it, he just has to pay the going rate of 2 million, plus another 2 million for his previous disrespectful comments about Trump. Once those checks clear, Trump will do the moral thing and impartially pardon a sex pest and woman beater who was just treated very unfairly.
