The Democratic politicians need to upstage this political theater and take control of the narrative. At the least calling for a General Strike and asking constituents to take to the streets. We’ve experienced a legitimate coup, the Constitution is being shredded, all the branches of the government have been compromised, as well as the vast majority media under their control. We have no recourse other than General Strike to halt the wheels of normalcy.

In addition to all the other cues people have commented on, one thing stands out is it becomes generational knowledge. I bought a home four years ago and when I first toured the property the old man that lived here right away pointed out the directions. The river in front of the home is directly west and runs north to south, the tracks behind the home are east, where the sun rises. Whenever I brought up any questions about the property he needed to first know the direction, this became imprinted on my understanding and communications about the property. When I go down to the basement the directions are clearly marked on the supporting beams so I know immediately how to describe anything with the house. When I speak with my neighbors about most anything to do with theirs or my property I now use directional cues, reinforcing this type of knowledge and communications and it encourages them to do the same going forward. It’s become self-reinforcing generational knowledge.

I’ve read in other articles that yes, the plan is to keep the encryption ahead of the curve. One thing I don’t think can be prevented is quantum mining of the remaining BTC, which will likely vastly enrich whoever does it. It could devalue the BTC but that shouldn’t collapse the market. Decrypting the blockchain and 256-bit keys will before counter-measures are in place is the threat.

When I see the Greeks in the port cities resisting Israeli settlement and occupation I know where I come from. I don’t identify as white, I’m brown. I am Greek first and foremost, American as this is where both sets of grandparents settled.

There’s a third reason and probably more. As a proud 2nd generation Greek American I am always curious about my date / partner’s ethnic heritage. I tend to be more attracted to ethnic women and having another nationality to identify with is valuable to me. I take pride in my heritage and I’m attracted to people who value theirs or at the least still have a connection to it.
