I was at work in Virginia about 6 miles from the Pentagon. It was in the morning. A coworker was telling people that D.C. was bombed ( back in those days only foreign enemies ). My coworkers and I were like “WTF?”. We stood in a crowd and chatted for a while. I told my boss traffic was likely to get horrible and asked him if I could go home. He was mellow and let me go. My housemates and I spent the rest of the afternoon watching the news coverage in the living room.

Statistics are not kept for subjects like that and you know it. You wrote that you didn’t know who he was. Do a web search. Look at the things he said and look at his media reach. Then think it over.

having an opinion Kind of makes it sound like he had trivial views that did not make a large difference. That isn’t true. If his “for having an opinion” was about dairy vs nondairy icecream you would have had a point. His views and behavior were creating victims of violence.
