but its more akin to the adoption of air travel by plane, the adoption of the internet, or of the smart phone. Again, you’re just telling yourself the same things these AI idiots tell themselves – and they have billions hanging on being right lol. Air travel, internet, smart phones – those all have real uses that benefit society. AI can be very useful in very specific applications, but won’t be replacing people any time soon, if ever. And I’m someone who LOVES the prospect of humanity benefiting from tech and what the future will bring. This ain’t it. Just another temp fad driven by greedy people.

That’s what the billionaires are desperately hoping for – must seem so enticing, to just not have to pay people for their work anymore, and just use a fake ass version of it. That might happen, but I seriously doubt it.

AI does have valuable uses, for things that humans simply cannot do or is too tedious and can be handled better by a computer. Pretty much every map app, for example. Replacing people in things they absolutely can and should be doing, such as art, is pure rich person fantasy.

I mean, if you want to believe that, go ahead, don’t let my simple facts stop ya. 🙂 AI has good uses, like dynamic maps and lots of other things that human simply cannot do, and I’m excited to see all the things that it will do. Replacing humans in things they absolutely can do (and SO much better), especially in terms of art, isn’t a good use of AI and never will be – it’s just another billionaire scam. That will never be normal. Sorry.

No, we’re talking about how the Vogue editors made the incredibly stupid choice to try and replace their caterers, PA’s, lighting techs, etc. with AI. And thus have lost their status as a quality product, likely for good. Womp womp. Respect is so hard to gain and so easy to lose.

I’ve seen literally zero evidence of that. Plenty of evidence that relying on AI makes your product go to complete shit, though. So there’s that. AI is the reason “enshittification” was made word of the year by so many dictionaries.
