Im playing through it right now; so far weve allied ourselves with various factions and have jobs trying to set up trade routes deep into the Chult interior and religiously convert any small groups we come across (long story). Point being, when your crew gets to the port there are SO MANY diversions and opportunities for adventuredeeply personal backstories may fade into the background. It happens to my crew almost every campaign. ‍️

There were a few instances, but the biggie was a green dragon (critical to the whole story) thats supposed to attack and then leave, flying away. The Barb managed to get swallowed, dragon takes off at high speed. Barb deploys the Rod from the dragons stomach, and disemboweled the thing out its ass in midair. So the BBEG was killed in Act 1 and the entire story was in ruins lol. CLEVER
