Push for greater awareness and activism around the situation in Yemen the same way that folks are activating and pushing for change in relation to Israel’s actions in Palestine. Nothing prevents activism and outreach on multiple fronts.

There’s plenty of outrage to go around. Protesting or expressing disagreement with Israel’s genocide does not preclude anyone from caring about other issues as well.

They are fully within their rights to protest whatever they want. In this case, they’re protesting the state of Israel’s murder of 60,000+ people (with US and European financial and military support).

Please stop equating religions with political entities. Judaism Israel, just as Islam Palestine This false connotation by folks like yourself is what, often purposefully, allows people to incorrectly claim that criticism of Israel is antisemitism. These BBC staffers are protesting the political state of Israel’s horrific genocide in Gaza. They are not protesting Judaism.

Well, Israel could allow independent observers and reporters into Gaza. Of course, they won’t because they know that the situation on the ground will torpedo what little remains of their global reputation.

Did you read the link you keep posting? I’m not sure it’s the vindication you’re claiming. “Malnutrition has been rising rapidly in the first half of July and has reached the Famine threshold in Gaza City. Over 20,000 children have been admitted for treatment for acute malnutrition between April and mid-July, with more than 3,000 severely malnourished.” “Nearly two years into the conflict, over 59,500 people have been killed and 143,000 injured. 70 percent of the infrastructure has been destroyed or damaged.” You keep arguing about percentages. Thousands of people are starving, on top of the tens of thousands Israel has already murdered with our support and assistance. That’s the catastrophe.

Holy shit you’re reaching. The existence of restaurants does not disprove obvious starvation.

That’s a lot of work to attempt to justify Israel’s genocide of tens of thousands. They could also just stop the genocide. Again, nothing that happened on October 7 comes anywhere close to justifying Israel’s slaughter of tens of thousands. You can keep trying, and I’m sure you will.

Even assuming that the actual number is 65,000 and not much higher (as most independent observers believe), is that not an absolutely disgusting and deplorable stat? Nothing that happened on October 7 comes anywhere close to justifying this insane and indiscriminate slaughter.

Thats a deflection from my key point. You keep presenting the relocation of Gazans as the only way to end their suffering. In fact, theres another way: Israel can end its genocidal campaign. Do you agree? Rebuilding and recovery are separate, very important conversations to have, but your presentation of Gazan relocation as the only option for ending the genocide is incorrect. The people carrying out the genocide could simply stop genociding.
