Does it? I thought the constitution said there’s a right of free travel between states…. Oh, you mean the Texas constitution. Well, the US constitution also has something to say about that; a state can not make a law to take away that right. So yes, illegal.

Well, seeing as barring people from leaving a state is against the US constitution, and states can’t take away those rights, only give more, it’s kind of a moot point you’re raising. And also completely unreasonable.

If everyone just complied with the Nazis we wouldn’t even be able to have this discussion right now. If everyone just complied with the US Government, we wouldn’t have a minimum wage, overtime, 40-hour work week, right to not be a Slave, right to vote if you are not a plantation owner and the list goes on and on and on….
