Great for people who aren’t pregnant too. I haven’t had a need for any herbal sleep aides since I started taking them.

OP was looking for ways to unwind in the evening. How would synthetic vitamins do that?

meditation in the evening reading novels can help you fall asleep, especially if you read in bed magnesium glycinate can help you relax and sleep better. keep a food diary (cronometer.com), make a game out of getting 100% of all of your nutrients. You will feel better overall.

Why advise people to consider synthetic vitamins when you give an example of synthetic folic acid sucks?

I like to try one herb at a time to see the effects it has on me. I start small, as I can always go larger later. Maybe there is one herb in that mix that is a problem for you. Maybe you just took too much for you. That is the nice thing about powders, tinctures, and even weighing herbs. You can experiment with different doses. I usually experiment on a Friday so if I feel out of sorts I have the whole weekend to recover.

Still have to pay for those draconian shipping rates.

I love fresh cilantro. I eat many meals that I can just finely chop a few grams of fresh culinary herbs and dump it on top. I keep meaning to do that and forget. I should try starting again.

Gloves. You can also buy 1lb bags of the dried leaves from Frontier Herbs. The stingers go soft and unnoticeable in the drying ( and cooking ) process.
