You will probably have to grow the vegetable amaranth. You can buy amaranth seeds in almost any health food store. The flour is mixed with other flours into cereals and baked goods. You need a good recipe for the seeds as they are heavy and sticky ( think hot cereal ).

Ugh. That farmer is the epitome of the angry and ignorant MAGA. People do the same thing with dandelion’s and other useful plants. They call them “weeds” then pollute their land trying to kill something beneficial that grew without any work for free.

I’ve seen a lot of wrong advice here. Worse, I’ve seen people double down on the incorrect information after being corrected. The worst example I remember was a thread asking for stimulating herbs that did not have caffeine. A bunch of bros ( the kind you would imagine who shop in CBD and Vape shops ) told the author to use Yerba Mate. They refused to admit they were wrong. That is why you shouldn’t trust advice here, but rather take it as a place to start your own research.

Idk when people talk about shrooms it sounds like there are lasting effects. I’ve heard that from people many times, but those people don’t seem to have their lives together better than anyone else.

Is getting high not a way to heal the human spirit or soul? Not really. Highs wear off and you come right back to your problems.

Either that, or there should be a botanical medicine subreddit Maybe an /r/herbalismHighs would be more relevant and findable.

I’m fortunate enough to have a small locally owned herb shop a 20 minute drive away. My state recently legalized cannabis. I asked them if they planned to carry cannabis or CBD products. They told me they didn’t want to ruin the vibe of the store. They wanted to keep the place about herbal medicine healing. The store is about 20 minute walk from a major college campus so I agreed with them. They would have been flooded with bros looking for their next high.

/u/MrWeed9819 Thorne (supplement brand ) is much more expensive, but they test their suppliers for contaminants. A lot of powdered turmeric has lead and other heavy metals in it that can damage a person’s liver. Please don’t take my word for it, do a web search.

/u/MrWeed9819 To avoid microplastics, you want to cut open the tea bags and empty out the chamomile. After that combine 8oz ( 1 cup ) of boiling water with each 5g of chamomile, preferably in a container with a lid. Soak for at least 30 min, then strain. For maximum strength let it sit overnight, strain, and then refrigerate. When you try a higher dosage, do it Friday after dinner so you have the weekend to recover if you over do it.
