There’s nothing wrong with that spot as long as there’s no cliff or water within the 8 spaces surrounding it a tree will grow. If there’s even half a space covered by cliff or water it won’t work.

Pretty sure if a tree can’t grow, you can’t plant one either. If they shaved that corner off the cliff it would be fine though.

Just look up on Youtube or Twitch for ACNH treasure islands. They’re free, though you can pay money for their islands with less traffic, and they just have everything basically laid out on these islands to take. The free ones can be kinda hectic with people coming and going constantly and having to deal with almost constant loading screens, but you have access to nearly every item in the game. You have to pay for Nintendo Switch Online though.

Yes, like every other day on my island. I’m past the point of needing it too, all I get are a bunch of flowers to dig up the next day.
