Hello I would like to ask what herbs I can take to get a massive boost in my testosterone. That might be dangerous for your health and may not give you a boost of energy. I want to feel very strong and energy filled. exercise eat clean get adequate sleep maybe hire a personal trainer. “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” – that is especially true of manipulating hormones. It is only 2 doctor visits to have your testosterone measured. Find out if you have a problem first. Beware of any advice you get in /r/herbalism. Like the rest of Reddit and moreso there are many people who like to visit /r/herbalism who do not know what they are talking about and who will talk about it with confidence.

How do you know these things? Can you point us to URLs from reliable sources?

Any testosterone enhancing substance will. Rather your body will. Your body doesn’t like what it considers to be excess levels of anything.

Your concerns might not exist if your type put as much energy into staying informed, looking at reality honestly, voting, protecting democracy, and protecting people’s rights.

Yes, I too have noticed that Instagram is full of copy cats and the information is often dodgy. To be fair, the information in /r/herbalism is often dodgy too. Worse, people will double down on things that are pointed out as blatantly wrong. One good example I remember is someone asking for herbs that were stimulating, but that did not contain caffeine. Several reddit bros chimed in with yerba mate and kept insisting on it after people posted links showing they were wrong. Still, I’m an atheist. Most religious content was just made up out of thin air at some point in the past. If it helps people be happier without hurting others I am fine. OTOH I am like “witch craft?” “really?”. No need sister, those plants have proven chemicals in them.

You find plenty of both, the phytochemists and the spiritualists. I come across mostly spiritualists among fellow herbal medicine users. For example, my local herb shop hosts workshops. One of them is “plant meditations”. An example would be a “Lemon Balm meditation”. Instead of learning about lemon balm, why it works, and how to use it people sit around visualizing lemon balm. That isn’t going to open up ordinary people to herbal medicine. It is 2025. Can we separate the superstition ( no offense ) from the herbal medicine subculture?
